Sandu Babeanu, Romanian sculptor which died in 1980, is the father-in-law of Eric Schmitt and the grandfather of Jane and Lhugo Schmitt. His works in twisted and welded iron express his Dionysian conception of the world. by giving shape to dragons, dark birds, conquering bulls, or disturbing robots.

Sandu was also the creator of furniture and jewelry that reveal the ogresque vitality of this dandy with more softness.
For this exhibition placed under its star, Ibu Gallery presents a bronze sun edited in 8 copies and some jewelry such as the authentic «dick» ring edited by her granddaughter Jane Schmitt.
