LOBMEYR MANUFACTURE

In his letter dated 1885 Rudolph Habsburg writes to this brother-in-law Prince Philip of Coburg regarding the 50th birthday of the Belgian King:

“Dear Philipp, I have gone into some trouble regarding the gift for the 50th birthday of our father-in-law, and have come to the conclusion that beautiful objects of glass from the Lobmeyr factor would be most suitable. They are an Austrian speciality and represent the best that our industry produces…”
